Features

  • 【10+1 Stainless Steel Bearings】: The new series baitcaster fishing reel is more corrosion resistant and wear-resistant. The internal needle rollers of the bearing has been increased from the original 6 needles to 10, which improved the wheel overall tension and smooth, reduced the wheel in use one-way idling and probability of the fish ran away, and makes the reel comfortable even after thousands of casts during a day of fishing
  • 【10-Level Adjustable Magnet Braking System】: 10 level magnet braking can better ensure the stability of fishing line control. By adjusting the position of the brake bean to control the braking force, thus the purpose is achieved to controll the speed of the wire wheel. To give the angler many levels of spool braking to eliminate frustrating overruns. The larger the level number, the greater the braking force
  • 【With 4 Premium Carbon Fiber Drag Washers】: The star relief wrench is the main device to control the line wheel. And this material design of carbon fiber drag washers is the best for the relief group, because it can provide the best relief smoothness and relief force, and has heat resistance characteristics. It is also the basic design of high-grade water drip wheel.

Received it yesterday and i spooled this with 12 lbs braided line on an abu garcia black max medium action 6.6 ft rod. To my surprise this reel feels surprisingly balanced and smoother than the original abu garcia black max. I was excited to test it out so went out with two buddies to fish in our bass spot. Minnesota has a limit of six large mouth bass. I hit my limit before my friends and helped them hit their limits too. Not sure if it was a fluke or not but we never hit our limit under 2 hours in this lake. However, there are some adjustments you have to make. I set my brake right in the middle, i think 5 is where i had set it. Then you want to adjust your drag for the size of the lure. If you make the mistake of trying a different lure without adjusting the drag, i guarantee, you will get backlash. Baitcasters are my favorites but i see too many anglers blaming the baitcaster where they don't know how to use it. Also, untangling baitcasters is easier than spincasters. Youtube is your friend. All in all, perhaps this is too quick but i am very happy with this real and highly recommend to beginners and experts alike.
So I am not a baitcaster guy. I have owned many and nested every single one of this. I have a handful of Runcl spinning reels that always perform so I gave this Runcl Svallet a try figuring I would put it in the cabinet with my other nest makers. I am happy to say I was wrong! The baitcaster had no nesting issues at all and helped me drag in my limit of crappie and 2 bucketheads over 3 pounds each! It did take some trial and error with the drag setting and the position of my thumb but that was all me not this great baitcaster. Highly recommend this reel and honestly all Runcl products. What I have found is they offer the same quality of Abu, Lews, or Penn and less than half the price.
Unboxing the caster I would say the company did a fair job. It came with warranty card and instructions. It's a budget friendly reel and I did not have high expectations. I have yet to fish with it but I did put it on a rod and spool it with braid. Overall it seems to cast fairly well. One thing that I did notice was the handle has some slop in it but not too bad. Again, it's a budget reel. I will see what I think after I fish with it.Update: I was able to fish with the reel and I would say it performed as expected. Not bad for the price. We will see how it holds up after multiple uses. I would compare it to the AG Black max but maybe a bit smoother. Probably due to the extra bearings. As said, durability will be the deciding factor.
